Preparing a local game…

This game requires Canvas. Use a current browser and the labeled keyboard or touch controls.

Runs stay in this browser.

Focus the canvas for game keys. Labeled buttons also work with Tab and Enter. Escape pauses. Touch actions and game-specific keys are explained below. Hidden tabs pause; full screen has a visible exit. Moving games require visual timing.

How to use Brick Breaker

  1. Read the game-specific controls below. Press Start or a play control; sound is off unless you enable it.
  2. Focus the canvas for keyboard play, or use the labeled touch controls. Pause or Escape stops the simulation.
  3. Review the local score, restart the same seed, or choose a fresh original game. Returning here restores the saved run paused.

Questions

How do I play Brick Breaker?

Move with Left/Right or A/D, drag the paddle, or move your mouse over the canvas. Space, Enter, a tap or Launch releases the ball. Three lives; numbered bricks need one to three hits. Every five destroyed bricks can drop a W wide-paddle or S slow-ball boost. Clear the field to advance through original generated layouts.

Are these original visuals and levels?

Yes. All shapes, palettes, courses, enemy movement and layouts are locally drawn or generated by original code. No arcade ROMs, commercial levels, branded characters, copied audio or remote asset packs are used.

How do pause and recovery work?

The current run is saved locally during play and on pause when browser storage is available. Refresh or returning directly to this route restores the run paused. Hidden tabs and window focus loss pause automatically. Games never automatically open from the homepage, and New game or Restart asks before replacing an unfinished run.

What accessibility controls are available?

Play controls are semantic buttons and the focused canvas supports the documented keys. Scores, lives and progress have text summaries. You can reduce game pace, pause anytime, and use full screen with a visible exit. Reduced motion removes decorative animation; real-time gameplay still requires visual movement and timing.

Are scores or game history uploaded?

No. Runs and high scores stay in this browser. No account, server session or upload is needed, and game history is never sent to analytics. Sound uses a quiet local oscillator only after you opt in and start play.
