Questions

What are the Kakuro rules?

Digits 1–9 must sum to each clue without repeating in a run. Larger original boards may include starter digits; every generated board is verified with those entries.

Are my game moves uploaded?

No. The board, clues and searches stay in this browser. Only safe categorical tool events may be recorded; puzzle contents, solutions and move history are never sent to analytics.

How does local progress work?

This page restores its own saved board, score and recent undo history when browser storage is available. Clear site data to remove it. It never automatically opens from the homepage.

Do starter digits change the rules?

The digit and sum rules stay the same. Larger original boards may include fixed starter digits to give a verified unique challenge. Compact boards have no starter digits; the solver also accepts known entries.
