Is my file uploaded?
No. Files are read, decoded and encoded by your browser (WebCodecs and Web Audio). Nothing is sent to a server, so private recordings stay private.
Which browsers work?
Current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. Formats a browser cannot encode are marked “not available” in the menus instead of failing halfway.
Why does my fast cut start slightly earlier?
Without re-encoding, a video can only start on a keyframe, so the cut begins at the nearest keyframe before your start. Choose frame-accurate mode for exact cuts.
