Questions

What do the harmony options mean?

They are classic color-wheel rules: analogous uses neighbouring hues, complementary uses opposites, triadic uses three evenly spaced hues, and monochromatic varies the lightness of one hue.

Can I start from my brand color?

Yes. Enter it as the base color and pick a harmony; the palette is built around it.
