Questions
How much smaller will my images get?
Typical photos shrink by 40–80%. Images that were already heavily optimized may not get smaller; in that case Pevlika gives you back the original instead of a larger file.
Will I lose quality?
JPG and WebP compression is lossy, but at quality 70–85 the difference is very hard to see. PNGs are reduced by optimizing the color palette; set quality to 100 for lossless PNG optimization.
Is my photo’s EXIF data kept?
No. Metadata such as camera details and GPS location is removed, which also saves space and protects your privacy. The image is automatically rotated the right way up first.
What is the file size limit?
Each image can be up to 15 MB, and you can compress up to 20 images at a time.
