Questions
How much smaller will my PDF get?
PDFs with lots of photos or scanned pages often shrink by 50–90%. Text-only PDFs are usually already compact and may barely change — if the result isn’t smaller, you get your original file back.
Which level should I choose?
“Light” keeps print quality (300 DPI images). “Recommended” (150 DPI) is ideal for screens and email. “Strong” (72 DPI) gives the smallest files but images may look soft when zoomed.
Will text become blurry?
No. Text and vector graphics are kept as they are; only embedded images are downsampled.
What is the file size limit?
Up to 30 MB. Password-protected PDFs can’t be compressed.
