Questions

Can I edit existing text?

Text editing works best on simple text-based PDFs. Font substitution and complex layouts can change the appearance. Added text supports Latin, Greek and Cyrillic; unsupported symbols fail export clearly. Scanned documents need OCR in a separate tool; this editor does not recognize text in images.

Is removing or covering an object secure redaction?

No. Visual edits and overlays are not advertised as secure redaction. Do not use them to remove confidential information.

Can I open protected PDFs?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are not supported. The editor shows an error rather than bypassing protection.

What are the limits?

Each PDF may be up to 30 MB and 200 pages. Available browser memory may impose lower limits. Work is held for this session only, so export before closing.

Does a drawn signature certify the document?

No. A signature is a visual annotation, not a cryptographic digital signature or identity verification.
