Questions

Are images uploaded or saved for recovery?

No. The image remains in this tab and is not saved to cookies, local storage or a server. Copying and downloads keep the current preview available.

How is aspect ratio preserved?

Character rows account for the image ratio and an adjustable character width-to-height ratio. The default 0.5 suits typical monospace text.

What are the input limits?

Raster files up to 25 MB / 40 megapixels, output 8–240 columns and up to 1,000 rows. SVG is excluded; animated formats use a still frame supported by the browser.
