Questions

Which format should I choose?

JPG is best for photos and works everywhere. PNG keeps transparency and sharp edges, ideal for logos and screenshots. WebP is smaller than both and supported by all modern browsers.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?

JPG can’t store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose (white by default).

Can I convert an animated GIF?

Only the first frame is converted. Animated output is not supported yet.

What is the file size limit?

Up to 15 MB per image and 20 images at once.
