Questions
Does a valid result mean the address is safe?
No. It only means the address is well-formed and has no typo that the checksum can detect. It cannot tell you who owns it, whether it is a scam, or whether it’s on the network you intend to use.
Why can’t Solana addresses be fully verified?
Solana addresses are plain Base58 public keys without a checksum, so the tool can only check the length and characters. Always double-check the first and last characters.
Do you store or look up the address?
No. The check runs in your browser using the address format rules; no blockchain explorer or server is contacted.
