How to use Draw & Guess
Create a private room, invite friends and take turns drawing. Guess privately before time runs out, then reveal and verify the round together.
- Create a room and invite at least one friend by link, QR or code. Keep the original tabs connected.
- The room owner selects an English or Turkish word pack, turn duration and number of rounds. Each participant can choose their own UI language.
- On your drawing turn, reveal your private word and draw using touch or mouse. Other players can submit up to 20 private guesses.
- At the end of each turn, reveal the committed word and guesses. Each correct guesser earns 100 points once; the drawer earns 50 per correct guesser. Continue until every player has drawn in each round.
Questions
Who can see the secret word?
Only the drawing player stores the current word before the turn closes. Other peers receive a salted commitment. The word and submitted guesses are revealed after a certified close so every connected peer can check the score.
How does scoring work?
An exact match after Unicode normalization, case folding for the chosen word pack and space normalization earns 100 points once per player per turn. The drawer earns 50 points for each correct guesser. There is no speed bonus. Names, variants and synonyms must match the pack word.
Is this a cheating-proof competition?
No. The drawer chooses their word locally and can communicate outside the game; the owner or drawer can close a turn. Commitments verify revealed words and guesses, not honest drawing or independent clocks. Missing private reveals are explicitly left unscored.
Does the coordinator see all guesses or carry voice?
No. Guesses are sent directly to the drawer and revealed to the room only after closing. Optional microphones use direct WebRTC mesh connections independently of the room coordinator.
Can every network connect?
Some restrictive networks cannot establish direct connections without a TURN relay, which Pevlika does not provide. Keep tabs open; suspended phones may disconnect. Room resume uses the original browser tab’s saved private state, when available.
