Questions

Does it rename variables like Terser or UglifyJS?

No. It removes whitespace and comments only, which is safe for any code. For maximum savings use a build tool with mangling.

Will it break code without semicolons?

No. Line breaks are kept wherever removing them could change how JavaScript inserts semicolons.

Are licence comments kept?

Yes — comments that start with /*! are preserved.
