Yes, the timer keeps running in the background and plays a tone when it finishes. Some phones pause background tabs to save battery, so keep the screen on for short, critical timers.
Is the timer accurate?
It measures elapsed time from your device’s clock rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even if the browser slows the page down in the background.
What is the Pomodoro technique?
Work in focused 25-minute blocks followed by 5-minute breaks, with a longer 15–30 minute break after every four blocks. You can change all the lengths.
