Questions
Is my information uploaded?
No. Everything you type is laid out and turned into a PDF in your browser. Your draft is saved only on this device, and you can save it as a file to continue elsewhere.
CV or resume — what is the difference?
In the US and Canada a resume is a short summary without personal details. In Europe, Asia and elsewhere a CV usually includes a photo, date of birth or nationality where that is customary, languages and a fuller history. Both use the same editor here.
Should I add a photo?
Many European employers expect one; in the UK, US and Ireland photos are usually left out. The photo stays on your device and appears only in the templates that support it.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no paywall on the download.
