How to use Mind Map Maker
Type a central idea, then press Tab and Enter to grow the map without touching the mouse.
- Select the central topic and press Tab to add a branch.
- Type, then press Enter for a sibling or Tab for a sub-idea.
- Drag a topic onto another to move its whole branch.
- Export an image or PDF, or save the project file.
Questions
How do I move a branch?
Drag any topic onto another topic. Its children come with it and the map re-balances left and right.
Can I navigate with the keyboard?
Yes. Arrow keys move between topics, F2 edits, Tab adds a child and Enter adds a sibling.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The editor, your photos and every export run in your browser. An unfinished project is kept for recovery on this device only, and “Save project” downloads a file you control.
