How to use Org Chart Maker
The hierarchy lays itself out as you add people; import a spreadsheet export to build a whole team at once.
- Select a person and press Tab to add a direct report, Enter for a colleague.
- Edit names and titles in place or in the Properties panel.
- Drag a person onto a new manager to move them and their team.
- Import a CSV (name, title, manager) or export the chart.
Questions
What CSV format does the import use?
A header row with name, title (or role) and manager (or reports to). Managers are matched by name; people without a manager become top-level.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The editor, your photos and every export run in your browser. An unfinished project is kept for recovery on this device only, and “Save project” downloads a file you control.
