How strong should a password be?

Aim for at least 16 random characters, or a passphrase of 5+ random words. The strength meter shows the estimated entropy in bits; 80+ bits is very strong.

Are these passwords saved?

No. They are generated in your browser with the Web Crypto API and never leave your device.
