Standard atomic weights follow the IUPAC abridged values; masses in brackets are mass numbers of the longest-lived isotope. Electronegativity is on the Pauling scale where a reliable value exists.

How to use Element Explorer

Find an element by name, symbol or atomic number, or filter the list by category, block and state, then open it for details.

  1. Type a name, symbol or atomic number, or choose filters.
  2. Sort by atomic number, name, atomic mass or electronegativity.
  3. Select an element to see its details; the link keeps the element for sharing.

Questions

Can I link to one element?

Yes. Selecting an element adds it to the address (for example #Fe), so the link opens straight to that element.

Why do some elements have no electronegativity?

Noble gases such as helium and neon, and many heavy elements, have no reliable Pauling electronegativity, so none is shown instead of a guess.
