How to use Excel to PDF
Turn a spreadsheet into a PDF that fits the page: values shown as in Excel, with widths, merged cells, colours and gridlines.
- Choose or drop an .xlsx or .csv file.
- Pick a sheet, orientation and paper size.
- Keep “Fit columns to the page width” on for wide sheets.
- Download the PDF.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The converter runs in your browser: your file is read, converted and saved on this device. It works offline once the page and converter have loaded.
What happens with wide sheets?
Columns are scaled to the page width, and landscape is chosen automatically. Very wide sheets continue on extra pages, printed down then across like Excel.
Are formulas calculated?
The PDF shows the values saved with the workbook, formatted with its number formats (dates, percentages, currencies).
Can I convert .xls files?
Only .xlsx and CSV. Save older .xls workbooks as .xlsx first.
