Questions
Why isn’t my controller detected?
Press a button after connecting it: browsers hide gamepads until you interact, for privacy. Also check that no other app (Steam, a game) has captured it, and try a USB cable.
How do I check stick drift?
Let go of the sticks. A healthy stick rests near 0.00; a value that stays above about 0.10 (or slowly wanders) means drift, which games usually hide with a dead zone.
Does vibration work?
Rumble works in Chrome and Edge for most Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Firefox and Safari don’t support vibration from web pages yet.
